Programs for College and University Groups

For college and university student groups, outdoor experiential adventure opportunities can strengthen peer connections, teamwork, communication, confidence, and resilience. They also support mental well-being by reducing stress, encouraging a sense of belonging, and giving students a refreshing break from routine while building leadership and problem-solving skills.

The Center offers day and overnight programming for corporate groups, school leader/teacher professional development, and college/university student groups.

Our highly-trained facilitators can design a program to meet your organization’s specific needs in order to build strong and cohesive teams, and enhance group communication and cooperation.

Programs can be customized to include team- and trust-building activities such as:

  • High ropes adventure courses;

  • Low ropes teamwork challenges;

  • Climbing tower communication and collaboration activities;

  • Waterfront activities like swimming and canoeing;

  • Ziplining and rappelling down the Bass Lake dam!

PBC specializes in strengthening social and emotional learning (SEL) skills among participants of all ages.  Ask for more information about SEL and how it can make your team stronger and more effective.

Students from Princeton University, New York University, and The College of New Jersey have found a deeper sense of connection with each other after spending time with PBC’s facilitators in team building and collaboration challenges.

“Your Program Manager was accessible, helpful, and knowledgeable in planning the program, which was appropriate for our group and identified goals to strengthen communication and problem solving. PBC Facilitators worked effectively with our participants to reach identified program goals with kindness, compassion, and cultural competence.”
